The sound system designed for today's drummer.
The TransActive Drummer is the amplifier designed for today's electronic drummer. This complete, active system contains a powerful, active two-way speaker wedge with two sets of inputs, stereo outputs, and a dock for iPod. It's perfect for practicing alone or playing with a band.
Because it's a full-range amplifier, the TransActive Drummer is also great for use with other instruments such as keyboards. You can use it for practice, amplification at the music gig, or as a foldback monitor wedge.
The TransActive Drummer also comes with a trial subscription for 10 free drumless songs from minusDrums.com for fun play-along sessions.
INPUTS AND OUTPUTS
The TransActive Drummer enables you to connect your electronic drumset, as well as an aux source such as a metronome or sequencer. The dock for iPod enables you to mix and play along with your music. You can link two TransActive Drummers together with a common 1/4" TRS cable for stereo performance with double the inputs and double the power. The amp also has line-level 1/4" stereo outputs so you can connect it to a PA system or record your sessions.
The front panel gives you access to volume, three-band EQ, level control for iPod, and a 1/4" headphone jack. When connected, headphones mute the speaker for late-night jamming without bothering the neighbors.
The TransActive Drummer has a large, 10" woofer that plays down below most kick drums, and a 1" tweeter that makes cymbal sounds sparkle. The amplifier provides 50W RMS so you'll always have plenty of power. When you link two TransActive Drummers together for stereo performance, you get a 100-watt system that's ready to take on any guitarist's rig!
Transporting the TransActive Drummer is easy because it has pro-grade handles recessed into the left and right sides. It has a switchable power supply so it works anywhere in the world.
The TransActive Drummer is the perfect speaker system for practicing and performing your drums.
Established in 1980, Alesis was founded on innovative semi-conductor chip technology and award winning industrial designs that allowed entry level musicians and recording artists to afford professional studio recording products that were never affordable before. With high "bang for the buck" value, Alesis introduced the world's first professional 16 bit effects processor under $1000, the Midiverb. Following on the heels of the Midiverb, Alesis progressed into studio quality drum machines (HR-16 and SR-16) as well as synthesizers, studio monitors and mixing consoles.
If there's one secret to our enduring brand and the passion it ignites in musicians, producers and engineers, it's that we deliver these experiences, rather than merely a collection of products and services. We"re dedicated to inspiring musical creativity and developing musical experiences for all of our stakeholders – customers, employees, partners, suppliers, and the musical community at large. That's what sets Alesis apart from the crowd and why our brand continues to be on the leading edge of professional audio and music technology.
While our products range from keyboards, synthesizers, hard disk recorders, iPod recording and playback devices, electronic drums, mixers, signal processors, effects units, amplifiers and speakers one thing remains consistent; our passion for inspiring musical creativity and innovation through new technology.
Alesis warrants its products to be free from defects for 1 year from the date of purchase.
