An industry-standard for professional DJ's, the Allen & Heath Xone:1D is a dedicated MIDI controller connected and powered by USB, which can be used to control DJ software such as Ableton Live and Traktor. It can be used with any brand or style of DJ mixer to add digital control, or add the Allen & Heath Xone:1D and a Xone:2D to a favourite mixer to make up the equivalent to a Xone:4D!
As well as the USB connection, the Allen & Heath Xone:1D has 5-pin DIN MIDI sockets for connection to other MIDI-enabled devices, such as samplers, sequencers or recorders. In the same way as the acclaimed Xone:4D mixer/controller works, all the MIDI controls can be mapped to software for use as navigation controls, providing the user with the same tactile control of performance software.
Joining the Xone:3D mixer controller and the Xone:2D controller with integrated soundcard, the new Allen & Heath Xone:1D is a dedicated MIDI controller connected and powered via USB, which can be used to control leading DJ software such as Ableton Live and Traktor3.
As well as the USB connection, the Allen & Heath Xone:1D has 5-pin DIN MIDI sockets for connection to other MIDI-enabled devices, and features 4 60mm linear faders, 8 detented rotary pots, 16 push buttons (4 of which are illuminated), 5 rotary encoders with "push to switch" function, and a multi-function jog wheel with switched navigation control. As with the Xone:3D, all the MIDI controls can be mapped for use as navigation controls for DJ or production software, providing the user with the same tactile control of performance software.
The Allen & Heath Xone:1D can be placed alongside any standard DJ mixer to add digital control, and if a Xone:2D is added, presents the equivalent feature set to a Xone:3D around your favorite mixer.
