About Audio Innovate
Audio Innovate ("AI") was founded in 2005 by Elliot Marx, an audio electronics and DSP engineer with 11 years experience in designing mixers and CD players for the DJ industry. Elliot Marx is known for developing "The Beatkeeper" and providing DJs with very powerful hands-on DSP based tools.
AI's mission is to provide the DJ with unique, practical, and rugged tools for both live performance and studio recording. With DJ's becoming more and more like musicians in their own light, AI is constantly seeking ways to give DJs the ability to bring performance to a new level.
AI introduced the AEM-100 at the 2005 Atlantic City DJ Expo. Since the Expo, many DJs came back to us with great input which we've incorporated to make this mixer a powerful and easy to use piece. We extend our special thanks to those DJs - especially Dustin Cook, DJ Flip, the "Ill Nino", and everyone at the Scratch DJ Academy in LA.
Also a special thanks to the Scratch DJ Academy LA instructors Denkym, Faust, and Shortee for all of your help with the 2006 NAMM show.
At the London Calling, based on feedback from DJs and from Musik Messe 2006, we introduced a more ergonomic version of the AEM-100 called the AEM-100i.
