Inside the case, our patented Headlock design suspends the guitar’s headstock, protecting it from impacts that could otherwise snap the neck. An oversized velcro strap quickly secures the neck against a specialized high-density foam block, which also keeps the tuning pegs away from the sides of the case during transport. On the bottom of the case the guitar’s strap pin is protected by a bumper system of high-density foam, industrial rubber and ABS "feet", diverting impact up and around the body of the guitar on vertical drops.

New Pioneer HDJ-1500-S & HDJ-1500-K Professional DJ Headphones

Pioneer has announced a new set of professional-grade DJ headphones, the Pioneer HDJ-1500, which will replace the now discotninued Pioneer HDJ-1000 headphones.

The Pioneer HDJ-1500-K are designed for professional DJ use, with copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils for accurate reproduction of deep base notes without sacrificing sound balance at other frequencies. The Pioneer HDJ-1500-S have large 50mm driver units featuring rare earth magnets and have 38?m-thick diaphragms which boost output levels by 1dB compared to Pioneer’s existing HDJ-1000 headphones, while lower impedance improves sensitivity.

To further boost the HDJ-1500s appeal to professional DJs, Pioneer has designed a soundproofing chamber which it claims improves sound insulation around the low and medium frequencies by 4dB compared to the HDJ-1000, helping to eliminate background noise and allow the user to concentrate on the task at hand. This has never ben done before on a DJ headphone.

Another improvement over the HDJ-1000′s is the rugged build quality of the HDJ-1500; featuring a moving headband and hinges comprised of lightweight yet strong magnesium alloy and an easily-replaceable single-sided cable. A narrow ear cup design improves comfort, using low-resilience urethane memory foam to ensure long periods of wear aren’t a chore. For those who prefer a more natural material, Pioneer is offering open-cup protein leather ear pads – Pioneer HDJ-EP01s – as an optional upgrade.

Like the rest of the Pioneer Headphone lineup, the Pioneer HDJ-1500 headphones are available in black or chrome finishes, and include a compact carrying pouch, 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter and a single-sided coiled cable which extends from 1.2m to 3.0m and ends in a 3.5mm stero mini-jack. Excluding the cable, the headphones weigh .628 pounds.

This is the brand new Innofader PNP version which will take the place of the original Innofader.

The original Audio Innovate Innofader has become somewhat complicated to most end-users because the manufacturer has gone to great length to make sure that it fits into every dj mixer imagineable. To try to simplify things for consumers, and to make installation dramatically easier, Audio Innovate has now invented the Innofader PNP. PNP stands for plug & play which when compared to the original Innofader, very accurately reflect the new product. With the original Innofader there were a ton of cables and parts included, with the Innofader PNP that’s all gone, and instead the testing circuitry to determine if it’s working with your particular mixer, is now built-in to the Innofader PNP, leaving a simple selection of 3 and 4 pin cables. To aid with installation, the label on the fader has been changed. It now shows exactly what to do when installing, even down to explaining how easy it is to simply reverse cables or jumpers if the red testing LED comes on. Another issue that the original Innofader had in some installations is insulation. The Innofader PNP now includes a thick insulation strip that insulates the open circuit on the back from the rest of the DJ mixer. It also comes with popular fixing plates too – the regular plate fits almost anything, and there are included plates for the Pioneer DJM-800 and DJM-900.

Purchase the Innofader PNP if:
1) You want to save money.
2) You have a VCA mixer or controller which is Innofader PNP compatible.
3) The future mixers where you plan on using the Innofader PNP are also compatible.
