The VESTAX PMC-05ProIII is the newest version of Vestax’s famous PMC-05ProII,which has been discontinued as of May 2004. It’s hard to improve perfection but Vestax has found a way to take their number one selling industry standard performance mixer and take it to the next level.

Improved EQ system keeps the same gain level even when low is cut to maintain high quality sound. The CF monitor control and monitor level controls have been moved closer to the top in order to free up more battle space around the crossfader for dynamic scratches and specific moves. Effect send/receive system that can connect with external effect systems. It can also be used to receive as a third line input. Equipped with high performance input switches. Designed for easy use in battle situations. Master cue function lets you check if the L/R sound is sent out to the hall or practice without the sound being broadcast through the master section.

This mixer’s new features are:

1. Stereo effect send
2. New heavy duty PGM switches
3. Master/Cue monitor select switch

The other differences you will notice between the VESTAX PMC-05ProIII and the PMC-05ProII are:

1. New rotary pot knob design.
2. Larger EQ sweep on the bass

FEATURES:

Stereo Effect Send
The PMC-05ProIII is equipped with a stereo effect send that has gain controls on the Sends (SEND) and Returns (RCV). Each PGM has a dedicated on/off switch for the effect send. Because of Vestax’s attention to detail this one simple feature can be used to achieve 5 different functions. They are:
1. Adding an effect processor to either or both of the PGMs.
2. The SEND can be used as a booth/monitor output.
3. the RCV can be an additional line input that leaves PGM 1 and 2 free.
4. Session input for Battle performances
5. Individual PGM sends for tracking and recording.

New Heavy Duty PGM Switches
The VESTAX PMC-05Pro III now comes stock with the heavy duty performance switches that used to be an expensive optional upgrade on the PMC-05ProII. These switches are much stronger and more durable for DJs who like to transform using the input switches. Part number IS05PRO2 is still available for DJs who would like to install these switches on their PMC-05ProII or PMC-07Pro models.

Master/Cue Monitor Select Switch
The VESTAX PMC-05Pro III also has an improved Cue section. You now can monitor either the master output or a desired PGM. This is a great feature for the meticulous DJ who is concerned about his levels when making mixed tapes or CDs. This will allow them to hear exactly what is being sent out the master to be recording device.

Larger EQ Sweep On The Bass
Another improvement made on the VESTAX PMC-05Pro III is a larger EQ sweep on the bass frequencies. The low frequencies can now be cut by –24dB and a boost of +12dB. The PMC-05ProII only offered a –12dB cut with a +12dB boost.

New Rotary Pot Knob Design
Vestax has introduced a new knob design that will be on all new mixers. It is a sleeker knob that is easier to grip and has a much better look

New Silver Face Plate
The new VESTAX PMC-05Pro III now has a silver faceplate instead of the gold faceplate that was on the PMC-05ProII. The silver faceplate, like the gold, is completely smooth with no screws anywhere near any of the faders that could cut up a “Performance” DJs hands. The cue cross fader has also been moved 2” higher to increase the battle zone area for the DJ.
