More than just a killer, all-new pro CD player - the DENON DN-D9000 has features that have NEVER appeared before in this type of unit! The D9000's new ALPHA Track Play/Mode is a "world's first" that enables independent and simultaneous playback of two tracks from the same disc, allowing manual mixing of two tracks (Sub and Main), using only one deck. ALPHA playback allows for mixing of the Sub and Main tracks, as well as an integrated ALPHA track Pre-Monitoring function for monitoring the Sub track during Main track playback in real-time. Other world's firsts include an A-B Splice function, which removes unwanted sections of a track seamlessly on the fly, 4 Hot Start points per drive, and 6 Stutter Cue play points.
Another exclusive is the inclusion of two samplers per drive (approximately 15 seconds, CD quality). You can also create up to four seamless Loops within a track or disc, which can further be adjusted via the jog wheel during Loop playback. Besides the full sampling capabilities, the DENON DN-D9000 has six effects (up to four may be used at a time), including Delay, Flanger, Filter (two types), and Transform (two types), all fully interruptible instantaneously using Bypass. The 9000's 5 Platter modes include Drag-S, which gradually raises playback speed to normal after playback is stopped; Brake; Echo, which repeats and fades last playback sound when Pause is pressed; Reverse; and Dump, which starts reversed playback for a specified time before returning to normal playback. The Sampler, Effector, or Scratch effects may be used at any time during playback, with the ability to freely move between functions or even combine all 3 at once. New CD player features such as the Auto/Manual BPM Counter, CD-R/CD-RW Disc Playback compatibility, and a new Constant Digital Out function for ensuring full sample frequency output with subcode despite playback speed, round out an impressive feature set for the unit. All that - and the time-tested reliability of Denon!
The DENON DN-D9000 takes further refinement of Denon-original features, such as digital scratching, to a new level - not only does the unit allow scratching of CD audio in realtime, but Sample audio too may be scratched, with user-chosen directional sound movement (Forward, Reverse, or Both). Denon's new ergonomically designed, large 70mm illuminated jog wheel helps give a more precise scratch and solid feel to the unit, also for use with the Platter Hold function, allowing for extreme pitch bends of +100%.
Denon standard functions such as 5,000 assignable Memo points, 25-track user-definable Program play/Random play, and two modes of Relay play hold down standard playback functions for the DN-D9000. Further Pitch Control and Pitch Bend ranges allow additional tweaking of playback audio.
As an added value to the user, and insurance of long-life operation and stability, Denon has also integrated the world's first user-replaceable CD drives into the unit, assuring zero downtime during field service and maintenance for the working DJ. The longevity of the unit is further enhanced via the use of high-performance brushless motors, plus the DN-D9000's inclusion of a newly-designed remote control cable with more robust, self-locking ends. In addition, a Shock-Proof memory of 16 seconds per drive helps ensure uninterrupted playback during the most intense sessions, while the fluorescent tube display with dot matrix text support, combined with illuminated action buttons and drive trays, also provide aesthetically pleasing convenience in low-light situations. 14 customizable Preset functions as well as compatibility with the Fader Start function of Denon's DN-X800 and DN-X400 Pro DJ mixers, as well as compatibility with the DN-X800's X-Effect function, make the DN-D9000 the ultimate Pro DJ Dual CD Player as part of a complete Denon DJ setup.

New features available via the Plug-In for the Denon DN-S5000 include full MP3 functionality, with 2-way scratch control for MP3 files, turntable platter effects such as Drag-S, Brake, Dump, Reverse, and real-time "active platter" scratching which can be applied for MP3. A Seamless Loop function with user-defined A-B points for MP3 is also added, as well as MP3 Search Cueing and Cue Stutter. Another new Plug-In features Denon's proprietary MP3 File Search System, which allows the user to instantly access any MP3 file on data disc (with or without file folders). For data discs without folders, files can be searched by track number or alphabetically by file name. For data discs with folders, the user can search four different ways: File/Folder allows user to search by folder names categorized by genre; File allows search for files as they appear on the data disc (track number); Artist Name searches alphabetically by artist name; and Title Name searches alphabetically by title/song. In addition, another world's first from Denon, Next Track Reserve was added, making it easy to pick your next MP3 file using the advanced File Search System during live playback. Within 5 seconds of finding your next track, you also have to the option to abort the playing file to seamlessly "SLAM Mix" into your next file. Pitch improvement is also a new part of the Plug-In package, adding 50% pitch range option and increments of .02% for the 4% range, and a new "Drive" Plug-In enables playback of "open session," unfinalized discs.
For Denon's DN-D9000 professional DJ dual CD/MP3 player, a new Plug-In is available allowing for "open session" unfinalized discs to be used, increasing versatility of adding MP3 files in moderation on one disc.
Denon's DN-D4500 dual CD/MP3 player also benefits from this latest round of Plug-Ins, with newly available software that enables a user-selectable Play Lock feature, which prevents accidental track change during playback when in "Single Mode." A new Title Display Mode is also added, allowing excellent management of MP3 files, with or without ID3 tag information. This new display feature allows for three display options:
1 - T.Disp All: File -> Folder -> Title -> Artist -> Album -> File
2 - F.Name OFF: Folder -> Title -> Artist -> Album -> Folder
3 - ID3Tag OFF: File -> Folder -> File
The playback limit of 150 MP3 files per disc has been increased to 999 MP3 files per disc.

Express: Products with the express designation will receive premium warranty service. If an Express DENON DJ product fails within this period, call 1-630-741-0330 to receive your Service Return Authorization. Shipment of product for in-warranty repair will be at the owner’s expense. Upon receipt of product, turnaround time is guaranteed to be 72 hours. Product will be returned via the same shipping method as received at D&M Professional’s expense.
